VISUALLY INVENTIVE MUSIC VIDEO FROM NASHVILLE SONGWRITER AND PRODUCER KYLE RYAN
Nashville, TN (March 17, 2026) — Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and musician Kyle Ryan, under the alias Junior Pro, shares the official music video for his single “Queen of Never,” directed by Casey Pierce, via Easy Does It Records.
Expanding the world of “Queen of Never” into something cinematic and surreal, the video unfolds through a series of imaginative, character-driven scenes that move between dramatically different visual environments. Rather than following a traditional narrative, the visual plays with transformation and theatricality, placing Ryan within a rotating cast of personas and stylized settings that blur historical reference, performance, and absurdist humor.
Lavish costuming, bold color palettes, and richly detailed staging give the video a dreamlike, almost storybook quality. Each moment introduces a new atmosphere while maintaining the emotional core of the song, reflecting on identity, longing, and the strange roles people inhabit within relationships.
The result is one of the most visually ambitious pieces in Junior Pro’s growing body of work, pairing Ryan’s understated songwriting with an increasingly imaginative visual language.
Junior Pro is the recording project of Nashville-based songwriter and producer Kyle Ryan. Recording much of his work at his personal studio, Wardenclyffe South, Ryan crafts songs that sit at the intersection of indie, folk, and atmospheric pop, defined by intimate arrangements and reflective storytelling.

Confused since the late 90’s in Pre-internet Lincoln NE, Kyle Ryan cut their teeth playing NOFX in middle school basements and Real-Book Ellington for country club cocktail parties. He moved to Nashville in 2006 as half of a duo with writing partner Madi Diaz. Since he’s been blurring genres and hiding in the cracks of Nashville’s Indie pop scene writing with and producing with artists such as Madi Diaz, Kacey Musgraves, Natalie Prass, Liza Anne, Dr Dog, Molly Tuttle, Josh Gilligan, Eric Slick, Mikky Ekko, Nikki Lane, and MorgXn. He toured with Kacey for 10 years as Musical Director and producing her “A Very Kacey Christmas” Record and the A Very Kacey Xmas TV special.
Now 1 global Pandemic, and 1 Baby girl later Kyle anchored themselves back in the studio donning the persona, Junior Pro, to explore what happens to a musical chameleon when they turn the lens on their own maximalist pop-in-a-blender fever dream.
