Nashville, TN (January 29, 2026) — Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and musician Kyle Ryan, under the alias Junior Pro, releases his new single “The Other End” via Easy Does It Records.
Grounded in emotional restraint and lived-in production, “The Other End” explores the unresolved space between connection and closure. The track unfolds patiently, prioritizing mood and narrative over immediacy, and reflects Ryan’s instinct for subtlety developed over decades of genre-blurring work.
Ryan’s musical foundation began in pre-internet Lincoln, Nebraska, where he balanced playing NOFX covers in middle school basements with studying Duke Ellington charts for country club cocktail gigs. He relocated to Nashville in 2006 as part of a songwriting duo with Madi Diaz, and since then has remained quietly embedded in the city’s indie pop ecosystem.
As a writer and producer, Ryan has collaborated with a wide range of artists including Kacey Musgraves, Natalie Prass, Liza Anne, Dr. Dog, Molly Tuttle, Josh Gilligan, Eric Slick, Mikky Ekko, Nikki Lane, and Morgxn. He toured with Kacey Musgraves for over a decade as her Musical Director, and contributed to the production of A Very Kacey Christmas and its accompanying television special.
Under the Junior Pro project, Ryan channels that depth of experience into work that is shaped by time, instinct, and emotional clarity rather than trend. “The Other End” continues this approach, offering a quiet but confident release from an artist whose voice has been refined through years behind the scenes.
