Chicago Based Singer Songwriter, Tanner Dane Releases EP Cut Me Loose

Chicago-based singer-songwriter Tanner Dane releases his deeply personal EP, Cut Me Loose, today via Easy Does It Records. An unfiltered look into the emotional depths of heartbreak, grief, and self-discovery. [Stream].

A collection of songs never initially meant for public ears, Cut Me Loose explores the fine line between vulnerability and strength, unraveling the weight of loss while embracing the painful yet liberating reality of change. The EP is stripped down with an acoustic guitar that plays a key role in amplifying the emotional depth of the songs, with intimate yet powerful melodies.  Watch/Share "Cut Me Loose."

“What’s most special about this collection is that it wasn’t supposed to become what it has,” Dane shares. “These songs live on the raw edges of heartbreak, grief, and coming of age, and I hope they find ears that relate to the challenges that circumstance places us in. If this EP can help heal even a small part of the wounds we tend to carry silently, then that means everything.”

Tanner Dane will be performing at Lincoln Hall on April 2 in Chicago sharing the bill with The Crystal Casino Band and, GreeTTea & The Tempos. Presented by AudioTree. Tickets on-sale now.
