New York, NY (October 31, 2025) – Chicago-based singer-songwriter Tanner Dane drops Pull Tabs EP today via Easy Does It Records. Blending introspective lyricism with lush and soulful production. [Stream Now].
Rooted in raw emotion and self-reflection, Pull Tabs explores the tender balance between self-discovery and connection. “The EP draws from the convoluted space of trying to love someone while realizing you’re still figuring yourself out,” Dane shares. “It’s about not trusting your own actions with someone else’s heart, and wanting to grow before diving in. It’s a quiet gamble on the future, knowing we’ll never fully learn how to use our hearts the ‘right’ way, but maybe that’s what makes love worth the risk.”
Sonically, the record finds inspiration in the classic soul of Nina Simone, paired with the textured, modern production styles of Still Woozy and Hozier. The project was co-produced by Chicago indie favorites Whitney, whose signature warmth and organic instrumentation complement Dane’s emotive vocals and confessional songwriting.

In March, Dane unveiled Cut Me Loose, a collection of songs originally never intended for public release. Stripped-down arrangements, anchored by acoustic guitar, heighten the emotional resonance of each track, delivering melodies that feel both intimate and profoundly powerful.
