New single "Satellite" out now. More music to come.
Lo Moon, the critically acclaimed Los Angeles-based three-piece, have today announced their signing to Easy Does It Records and [PIAS]. The band have also shared the single "Satellite," their first new track in over two years.

Working alongside producer Alex Farrar (MJ Lenderman, Hotline TNT, Wednesday), "Satellite" is the biggest Lo Moon sound to date: a grandiose dispatch of high octane energy, crossfading 90s alternative with slick 2000s blog rock.
Frontman Matt Lowell explains:
"'Satellite' is an exploration of fatherhood, loss and life's challenges. The constant feeling of working toward figuring life out, yet being unable to grasp how to do that in this ever-changing world both personally and externally. We tried to capture the anxiety and fear that comes with that using a more direct and new sonic landscape for us."
First teased live at a string of shows this past February, "Satellite" was originally released as an exclusive, limited edition 7" featuring an earlier mix by Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers). Lowell adds:
"Early in the recording process, we decided we wanted the first taste of new music to be available on physical long before it's out in the world. We pressed 'Satellite' on 7-inch vinyl with an early mix by Alan Moulder, then played a handful of underplay shows in London and Manchester in February. Everyone who attended received a copy. Since then, there's been an outpouring of fans asking how they can hear the song, so we're finally releasing 'Satellite' digitally."
After a quiet few years for the band, the single arrives on the back of a pair of support slots with The War On Drugs, and ahead of an expansive 2027 that will include worldwide touring.

About Lo Moon
Lo Moon emerged in 2016 as a fan and critical darling with the magnificently sprawling "Loveless". It paved the way for their 2018 self-titled full-length, Lo Moon, which NPR hailed as "shimmering, immersive and otherworldly. As intimate as it is anthemic." In the years that followed, Lo Moon have picked up acclaim from the likes of KEXP, Variety, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Stereogum, Consequence, The Independent, Vice and many more. A force to be reckoned with in their live performance, the band have shared the stage with The War On Drugs, Phoenix, Air and RIDE in addition to gracing the bills of Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, SXSW, All Points East and more.
More music from Lo Moon to come.
